September is Literacy Month, an opportunity to recognize the importance of reading, writing, communication, and digital skills in everyday life. Project Light of Manatee joins the Suncoast Adult Literacy Alliance in highlighting adult and family literacy throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties. During the third week of September, Project Light will share practical ideas, resources, and stories showing how stronger literacy skills can help adults support their families, advance at work, and participate more confidently in their communities.
