Project Light of Manatee celebrates the power of community support in strengthening education and opportunity. The article highlights the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County, whose commitment to early learning and family resources helps children start strong and families thrive. Together, these partnerships build confidence, nurture growth, and create a brighter future for the entire community.
Project Light Language School received a $30,000 grant from the Bishop-Parker Foundation during its 30th anniversary year. The funding supports new instructors, training, and classroom resources, helping over 400 adult learners build English, literacy, and employment skills.
Project Light of Manatee received a $225,000 grant from the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation to strengthen its educational programs. The funding will support instructors, upgrade technology, add administrative help, and expand resources for adult students.
