ENGLISH COURSE

REGISTRATION FEE  AND ENGLISH COURSE COSTS

The enrollment registration fee is $50, which is non-refundable. However, this fee is waived for returning students. All students must be at least 18 years old to enroll in any Project Light courses.

The cost of the Core Fundamental English language course is $200*. This fee includes all required study materials and supplies. After completing the registration process, a self-assessment, and an English placement test, students can join an English class throughout the school year, based on availability.

*Partial or full scholarships for the English language course are awarded to returning students based on merit, which considers factors such as class attendance, test results, and the practice of English both inside and outside the classroom, as outlined in the School Learning Contract signed at enrollment. New students may apply for a full or partial scholarship by going through scholarship application process. This process is done in person. A scholarship committee will review applications.

The English language courses are conveniently scheduled allowing flexibility for our students. Classes are available in the morning from 9 AM to noon or in the evening from 5:30 PM to 8 PM.

Project Light Language School has adopted the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) curriculum, which aligns with the Florida Department of Education’s Adult ESOL Curriculum Framework. This curriculum aims to provide a comprehensive and effective learning experience for students, ensuring they develop the necessary language skills to thrive in an English-speaking environment.

The school offers a diverse range of opportunities for learning English. From beginner courses to those designed for advanced learners, each program combines in-class and online instruction to create a dynamic learning experience.
