Christmas in Venezuela

Christmas in Venezuela is a very happy time. Families celebrate it by spending time together. One of the most traditional foods is hallacas. They are made with corn dough, meat, and vegetables, wrapped in banana leaves. People also eat pan de jamón, a special ham bread.

People listen to traditional Christmas music called gaitas, which creates a joyful and festive atmosphere. On Christmas Eve, families enjoy a big dinner and stay together until midnight. Children wait excitedly for Baby Jesus to bring gifts. Everyone shares food, laughs, and enjoys being together.

I remember Christmas gatherings at my grandmother’s house. Those moments were full of love, and they are memories I will treasure forever.

Christmas in Brazil

Christmas in Brazil is a time when people celebrate Christmas by gathering with their families. First, they decorate their Christmas trees and homes. On Christmas Eve, the whole family gathers. Each person makes a different dish, and we all sit around a large table. We wait until the first hour of the Holiday to hug each other and have dinner.

My happiest Christmas memory is from my childhood, when the whole family gathered at my grandmother’s house, and everyone played Secret Santa. I remember how magical it was to be together with everyone I love.
