Project Light of Manatee extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the Winter Gala 2025. With the help of sponsors, donors, teachers, and volunteers, the event raised $16,000 to expand adult English classes, enhance technology, and strengthen student support, creating new opportunities for learners and their families.
Project Light of Manatee recently hosted Lilliana Mont from the State College of Florida, who shared valuable insights about SCF’s programs for newcomers. The school also celebrates student Tuany Sodre de Oliveira, a nutritionist from Rio de Janeiro whose move to Florida inspired her to study English and pursue evaluation of her Brazilian diploma.
