Carol Parker is a highly qualified professional holding a Master’s degree in ESL and Educational Leadership from William Paterson University in New Jersey. After a rewarding career, she retired from the Manatee County School District as an accomplished ESOL Migrant Specialist, Curriculum Developer, and Teacher Trainer both online and in person.
Her commitment to community engagement is unwavering. In addition to her teaching experience, she served as a liaison between Montclair University in NJ between the college teacher program and School #13, Paterson, NJ. She also successfully established a Parent Involvement Program at School #13 which fostered stronger community ties.
With her extensive background as a Vice Principal in New Jersey, proficiency in Spanish, and leadership experience in Manatee County, she is well-equipped to positively impact Project Light’s Board of Directors and contribute to the school’s mission of benefiting the Manatee and Sarasota communities.
